Who we are

Spreeze (Pty) Ltd ("Spreeze", "we") is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website. Questions or requests about your personal information can be sent to our Information Officer at hello@spreeze.co.za, by phone on 010 003 7197, or by post to 22 Magwa Crescent, Waterfall City, Midrand, 2066.

What we collect

• Enquiry and quotation details you submit: name, work email, company, phone number (optional), country, buyer type, the products and quantities you are interested in, and your message.
• Consent records: that you agreed to processing for your enquiry, whether you opted in to updates, the date and the version of this notice.
• Attribution data attached to a submitted form: the page you first landed on, the referring website and campaign tags (for example utm_source). This is stored in your browser for the session and only sent to us if you submit a form.
• Security data: a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent, used to prevent spam and abuse. We do not store your raw IP address with your enquiry.
• Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4 usage data and Apollo.io website visitor insights, which may identify the organisation associated with your network.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, obtain pricing from vendors or distributors, and supply and renew software you order (POPIA s11(1)(a) and (b): consent and performance of a contract).
• To register licences with vendors where their licensing terms require the end-user organisation to be named. If you are a reseller who asked for confidentiality, we tell you before any such registration.
• To send you news and licensing updates, only if you subscribed and confirmed by email, or opted in on a quote form. Every message includes an unsubscribe link (POPIA s69).
• To keep the website secure and understand which pages help buyers (legitimate interest, s11(1)(f)).

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with: software vendors and authorised distributors (to quote and register licences); our hosting provider (GoDaddy); our email provider (Microsoft 365) and any transactional email service we use; Cloudflare (bot protection on forms); and, with your consent, Google and Apollo.io for analytics. Some of these providers process data outside South Africa; we rely on their contractual safeguards as required by section 72 of POPIA.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a sale are kept for up to 24 months and then anonymised. Customer records connected to orders are kept for as long as needed for the subscription, renewals and tax obligations (generally 5 years after the last transaction). Spam submissions are anonymised automatically.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent to marketing at any time by emailing hello@spreeze.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforegulator.org.za.

Cookies

The website works without cookies. Analytics cookies are only set if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer. We store your choice in your browser's local storage.

Security

Form submissions travel over HTTPS, are stored in a database outside the public web directory, and are accessible only to authorised Spreeze staff through a password-protected system.
