Microsoft licensing without the expensive surprises

New Commerce terms, 7-day cancellation windows, 300-seat caps, Copilot add-ons and Azure commitments make it easy to overpay. We help you choose the right plans and terms, then supply and renew them through authorised Microsoft channels.

  • Microsoft 365 and Copilot plans
  • Azure plan, reservations and savings plans
  • Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Visual Studio
  • Licence optimisation reviews

The rules that cost money

Most Microsoft licensing mistakes happen in the first week

Since Microsoft moved cloud subscriptions to the New Commerce Experience (NCE), an annual commitment really is annual. If you buy 120 seats and only needed 90, you can only reduce them in a short window after purchase or at renewal. Monthly terms avoid that risk but cost more per seat.

Add the 300-seat limit on Business plans, the choice between suites with and without Teams, and Copilot add-ons that depend on the right base licence, and the cheapest-looking option is often not the cheapest over a year. Our job is to get those decisions right before anything is ordered.

FAQ

Microsoft licensing questions

Can't see your question? Ask us directly. We reply within one business day.

Can I cancel a Microsoft 365 subscription if I bought too many seats?
Only briefly. Under Microsoft's New Commerce Experience you get a full refund within 24 hours and a prorated refund up to 7 days (168 hours) after purchase or renewal. After that, the commitment runs to the end of the term and seat reductions wait until renewal. That is why we check seat counts before you buy.
Are Microsoft cloud subscriptions priced in rand?
Microsoft prices CSP subscriptions for South African customers in US dollars. We can quote and invoice in USD, or in rand with the exchange-rate basis and VAT clearly stated. Choose whichever suits your finance team.
Should we choose a monthly or an annual term?
Annual terms lock the price for the term but cannot be reduced mid-term. Monthly terms are flexible but cost more per seat. Paying monthly on an annual term also carries a 5% uplift compared with paying annually up front (since April 2025). We model the options for you.
What is the limit on Microsoft 365 Business plans?
Microsoft allows a maximum of 300 seats across Business Basic, Business Standard and Business Premium combined. Above that you need Enterprise plans for the additional users, and you can mix Business and Enterprise plans in one tenant.
Can resellers use Spreeze for Microsoft licensing?
Yes, as part of our procurement desk. Under Microsoft's CSP rules the transacting reseller must be authorised, so we agree the commercial model with you up front and keep your customer relationship confidential.
